Being a capacity partner has been a great way for me to stay grounded and gain a sense of perspective. Everything moves so quickly in a corporate environment that it's easy to get caught up in the details and lose the bigger picture.
I've found that being part of the programme allows me to step out of my comfort zone and then come back into the organisation with fresh eyes and a broader view. Its amazing the creativity working a very different but parallel environment can generate. I also really value the opportunity to interact with diverse cultures and to coach and challenge someone very different from myself.
Overall its a great development opportunity to broaden your perspective, build coaching capability and gain a genuine sense of reward about helping create better futures for kids in New Zealand!
