Rod is the CEO, Spark Ventures, Spark New Zealand.
A Chartered Accountant on a number of boards locally and offshore, Rod previously spent 7 years in the oil and gas exploration industry in various strategy, business development and commercial roles. Key components embedded in the strategic plans of most Principals are the rapidly changing ‘tools of technology’ including e‑learning. As CEO, Spark Ventures, with 17 years in strategy, product and divisional leadership roles; coupled with 7 years on Telecom Executive, Rod is able to ‘look around the corner’ in ICT. For this and his dozens of highly talented capacity partners who ‘scaffold’ SBT Principals and schools, we are hugely grateful.
