Applications open for 2022 foundation programmes!

Springboard Trust is excited to welcome applications for our 2022 foundation programmes – the Strategic Leadership for Principals Programme (SLPP), and the Strategic Leadership for Rural Teaching Principals Programme (SLRTP)

Running since 2007, SLPP builds the core elements of strategic leadership and planning for school leadersthrough our unique cross-sector model. We partner principals with expert volunteers from the public, private and philanthropic sectors, creating profound professional development over the course of ten months.

This programme’s well-received rural counterpart, SLRTP, is relatively new, with our pilot cohort starting in 2019. It is similar to SLPP, but with a rural focus that acknowledges the multiple roles that rural teaching principals must play in their schools and wider communities.

Time and time again, principals tell us that learning with Springboard Trust is, put simply, the best professional learning and development they have ever done – and we’re excited to provide that for many more leaders in 2022.

Applying with Springboard Trust

Beginning the application process is easy – just head to this link and fill out our expression of interest form, which takes no more than 4-5 minutes.

From there, one of our team will be in touch to find out more about your school and leadership, beginning the formal application process.

A few points for applicants:

1. To increase our impact, we are now welcoming applications utilising a school's own budget or - in some cases - PLD applications. This is in addition to our usual philanthropically funded places that you can apply for, all of which continue to be offered.

You can find out more about who we prioritise for those philanthropically funded places and why (and what to expect during the application process) at the link below.

2. You’ll be able to express your interest in these programmes at any time – so if starting February next year isn’t the right timing for you, you can get in touch when you’re ready and we can work out the best way to provide support.

There are plenty of resources available to help you learn more about what we do, including:

And when you’re ready, your EOI is just a click away – right here - and we’ll be in touch to begin the application process.
